Meet Our Principal

MEET OUR PRINCIPAL, MR. STEPHEN KRALL, M.EdL

Mr. Stephen Krall, a longtime employee of WSSD, is entering his 23rd year in public education, all with WSSD. He has come full circle with this latest appointment to serve as Acting Principal of Wallingford Elementary School, as he is returning to the place where his career in education began back in 2002. He transitioned to Strath Haven Middle School in 2005, where he taught, coached, and served the district in several leadership capacities until assuming the role of assistant principal of SHMS in 2019.

Mr. Krall prioritizes an authentic, inspirational, and service-oriented leadership style. He strives to create and maintain systems that support a student-centered approach to learning, as well as maintaining a culture that is built on the foundations of respect, empathy, kindness, and cooperation. The bonds and relationships created between himself and the students, staff and families of WES will be his #1 goal of the 2024-2025 school year. This foundation of trust and collaboration will pave the way to success in every aspect of his work.

He is a continual goal setter and lifelong learner, earning a B.S. in Kinesiology from West Chester University, an M.S. in Athletic Administration (WCU), and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership w/Principal Certification from Holy Family University. He is currently enrolled in an Ed.D program with Holy Family University. 

Outside of school, Mr. Krall’s other roles of dedicated dad (of 3 boys) and husband are equally important to him, and bring him the best joys life has to offer.
